Is a category B licence enough?+
Yes. Vehicles shown as available can be driven with a category B licence.
Is there a deposit?+
No. We hold no deposit and no card pre-authorisation. You only pay the rental amount.
Can I change or cancel my booking?+
Contact us by phone or email as soon as possible – we will work out a solution together (postponement or new dates).
Is insurance included?+
Yes – comprehensive insurance with a €2,500 excess and 24/7 assistance across Europe.
What mileage is included?+
250 km/day included on all vans, 100 km for half-day rentals. Extra km charged at €0.30.
Can I drive outside Luxembourg?+
Yes, free circulation across the EU. Just let us know at booking for the green card.
Where can I rent a van in Luxembourg?+
From Axera in Walferdange (Rue du Pont) — our single pickup point in Luxembourg. Booking is done online in four steps and the van is ready at the time you choose.
How much does it cost to rent a van in Luxembourg?+
At Axera: €69 excl. VAT per day for the Opel Vivaro 5.8 m³, €95 excl. VAT per day for the Citroën Jumper 11.5 m³ and the Fiat Ducato 13 m³. Weekly rates from €390 and monthly from €1,490 excl. VAT. Luxembourg VAT is 17%.
Do you take a card imprint or a pre-authorisation?+
No. Axera holds no deposit, no card imprint and no pre-authorisation on your card. You pay the rental amount and nothing else.
Which van should I choose for a move?+
The three available vans are 5.8 m³ (Opel Vivaro), 11.5 m³ (Citroën Jumper) and 13 m³ (Fiat Ducato). Our volume calculator adds up your furniture and boxes and recommends the right size in 30 seconds.
Can I rent a van for half a day?+
Yes. The half-day rate (4 h, 100 km included) is €39 excl. VAT for the Opel Vivaro and €59 excl. VAT for the Citroën Jumper and the Fiat Ducato.
What payload can an Axera van carry?+
1,200 kg for the Opel Vivaro 5.8 m³, 1,450 kg for the Citroën Jumper 11.5 m³ and 1,500 kg for the Fiat Ducato 13 m³. All three are driven on a category B licence.
Does Axera offer long-term van rental?+
Yes, over 3, 6, 12 months or more, on a full-service plan: insurance, servicing, tyres, 24/7 assistance and a replacement vehicle, all in a single monthly payment.
